The SZ170R8 V2 packs a powerful Intel® Z170 chipset that is designed for next-gen LGA 1151 Skylake processors. With a new "R8" chassis design, it can accommodate up to four 3.5" HDDs and large size dual-slot graphics cards for various demanding graphics and storage applications. It is able to support 4K/Ultra HD video playback via HDMI or DisplayPort and provides a robust I/O interface and supports Intel® RST technology.

Supports High Speed Storage Interfaces

The SZ170R8 V2 is equipped with an Intel® Z170 Chipset and the new LGA 1151 socket. Gigabit LAN, SATA 6GBps, and USB 3.0 high speed storage interface support provides the best data transfer efficiency.

Superior Storage Capability


Up to four 3.5" HDDs can be installed to meet the requirement of storage in the market. With Intel® Rapid Storage Technology and RAID 0/1/5/10 modes, the SZ170R8V2 is suitable for storage applications such as file server, NAS, and multimedia work station.

Supports Large High-End Graphics Card


The all-new graphics card mechanism can support up to 120mm height graphic cards (supports max. size of 280 x 120 x 40 mm). It's easier to install a separate graphics card or other expansion cards with more stability.

Independent HDD Cooling

Set up with a 8 cm fan inside the front of the case, it can effectively remove waste heat from the hard drive to maintain stable and long-term operation.
